Abstract

Educational leadership has a crucial importance in the success of the educational management, through the main social role played by the leader (director) while interacting with other members of his educational team. Such role requires the power and the capacity to influence others and guide them in order to achieve the goal of the group. It is also considered as a main factor that can contribute to the success or failure of the organization through the interaction and cohesion between the two sides of the leadership. Therefore, researches and studies about leadership have focused on identifying the best type of leadership that can be used by the leader to achieve the desired aims efficiently and effectively. Within this framework, we focus mainly on the educational administration, which its success or failure is linked to leader’s (director) type of leadership, which requires mastering his work in order to facilitate the performance of the teachers educational and pedagogical tasks, and the ability to achieve the right human relations in the school environment
