Abstract :This article focuses on understanding the characteristics of natural resources, especially water, including the Atlantic Coast of Gharb in Morocco, through an accurate scientific diagnosis based on the study and analysis of geological, morphological and hydrographic factors, relying on the use of the modern cartographic approach (ArcGIS program), as well as clarifying the interaction of human behavior towards the space and water by adopting a statistical approach based on a fieldwork questionnaire addressed to the local population. And, the exacerbation of water problems known in this study area results in the increased demand for its uses due to the rapid population growth and the increased requirements of economic and agricultural development have also had significant changes in the space, so that the results of the research will appear on the implicit vulnerability, which appears to be inherent in the aggressiveness of climatic conditions, and the high intensity of extreme phenomena (floods - droughts) and its relationship to the climatic changes that the world is witnessing in general and the Atlantic coast of Gharb in particular
