Abstract

The subject of urban and rural disparities from the spatial and socio-economic perspectives, attracted many researchers with different specialties, scientific approaches and methodologies. However, this study was generally conducted in the context of urban areas domination over rural regions that exceeds political and administrative boundaries to include other aspects as demographic trends, the degree of this domination differs from an area to another and from a society to another depending on many influencing factors. Due to this situation, Morocco as other developing countries had a negative impact on both environment and Human sides. In order to minimize the effects of this domination; different spatial actors adopted many territory management strategies and policies.This scientific paper studies the contribution of Oulad Ziyan center in reducing the urban-rural gap and stemming the population migration besides offering essential public services in the province of Berreshid
