Abstract

This article aims to followobjectively the phenomenon of illegal migration in Algeria within the context of current international developments and socio-economic, political and technological variables that characterized this era, we relied to achieve our goal on the descriptive approach, then we tried to show the sociological approach according to Maslow and Dukeheim's theories, as well as to highlight the presence of the phenomenon in international and local legal texts. Through our theoretical analytical study, we concluded that: illegal migration in Algeria is based on humanity causes, through which social actors aim to satisfy their needs. It is also inextricably linked to development –in terms of its multiplicity- because the higher the effectiveness of development projects, the lower the dynamics of illegal migration and vice versa
