Historical Development and Analysis of Internal Structure of Jenin City – Palestine

Theaim of this study is to trace the historical Development of Jenin city – Palestine and its internal structure. The study also aims to trace the sprawl direction of Jenin. Methods:Authors used the descriptive method in order to describe and analyze similarities and differences of census tracts of the city according to the results of factor analysis technique. Results:After employing factor analysis two factors were extracted. First factor was named low education and low occupation. This factor explained 80% of the internal structure of the city. Second factor was named high education and high occupation which explained 9% of Jenin internal structure. Other 11% of the city’s internal structure may be related to other variables are not included in this study
