Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of digital education practices among UNRWA teachers and ways to enhance them from the viewpoint of male and female principals in the southern governorates of Palestine. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, relying on a questionnaire consisting of (32) items. There are male and female principals, and the data was analyzed using the Spss statistical analysis program. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: that the reality of digital education practices among UNRWA teachers was significant, with a relative weight of (68.75), and the presence differences between the average estimates of the sample members of the reality of digital education practices for the dimension (digital teaching) among UNRWA teachers due to the variable (gender) in favor of females, while there are no differences in the rest of the dimensions, and there are no differences between the averages of the sample's estimates of the reality of digital education practices among UNRWA teachers due to the variable (years of experience, educational stage) In order to answer this open question, the researchers used an interview with a sample of principals. The most important ways to activate digital education practices were to train teachers on the Ms Teams program and its special tools, and to provide teachers with the basic skills to carry out the process of communicating with students, and to convert educational content or part of it into digital materials
