Abstract

This scientific article aims to unveil aspects of transformation and continuity of woman’s socio-economic status in Sahrawi Morocco, and to highlight the socio-cultural constraints that pass through their relationship with local development, for this reason, an anthropological approach is adopted for the cooperatives in t the village of “Asrir” region Guelmim-Ouednoun to study the dialectical relationship between the physical and symbolic spaces. As the field is based socially, the qualitative approach is selected for the study of 63 cooperatives, and the adoption of research techniques such as: observation, photography and semi-structured interviews, this field study has resulted in a central output that the collaborative field as a modern organization used by Sahrawi women is influenced by the group's ideology and its gender characteristics, where many traditional structures related to the status of woman carry on and affect them creating many changes
