Structure of women's employment in Algeria for the period between1966-2008

The objective of this study is to investigate the reality of women's employment in Algeria in qualitative and quantitative aspects, based on the historical development of women's work. The analytical reading of data and statistics highlights the structure and characteristics of women's situation in the Algerian labor market. Therefore, the study used the most important indicators based on the analysis of the labor market, which began with the development of the size of the female labor force and its distribution according to the practical and professional situation according to the age groups, the main economic sectors and unemployment among women in Algeria
