Abstract

For instructors to effectively carry out their part in the teaching process, they need a number of teaching competencies that they employ in real in-class situations. Such competencies can only be acquired through practical trainingmini-teaching group is a genuine opportunity for teacher-trainees to develop such competencies, especially under efficient supervision; as it allows the trainees to gradually assume the role of the teacher and put theory into practice. The current work aims at shedding the light on mini-teaching and its role as one of the main means to develop teacher-trainees’competencies in teaching
