The Degree of Students' Satisfaction in Islamic Secondary Schools with the Teaching Methods of Science Teachers and Its Relationship to Academic Achievement: A Case Study of the City of Samarra

This study was conducted on a sample of Islamic secondary school students for the first and second intermediate grades with a number of (225) male and female students from the city of Samarra for the academic year 2023/2024. The researcher used the descriptive approach with the survey and correlation methods. The research aims to: 1. Identify the degree of student satisfaction with the method followed by science teachers for the first and second intermediate grades. 2. Identify the degree of cognitive achievement in science for the first and second intermediate grades. 3. Identify the relationship between student satisfaction and the degree of cognitive achievement in science for the first and second intermediate grades. The study concluded the effectiveness of the scale of student satisfaction with the teaching methods used by science teachers in Islamic schools, prepared by the researcher, and the research sample was characterized by a good degree of student satisfaction with the teaching methods used by science teachers in Islamic schools
