The role of community institutions in advocating for women to obtain inheritance From the point of view of those deprived of inheritance

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the role of community institutions in advocating for women to obtain their inheritance, the extent to which women use these institutions, the institutions that resort to them, the most supportive of women, the nature of the support they provide, and the opinion of the respondents in them. The descriptive, analytical, and comparative method was employed. Questionnaire and interview tool. The total sample amounted to (250) women deprived of inheritance in Khan Yunis governorate. The most important results of the research: (79.2%) did not go to any institution, and (20.8%) are gold. Reform committees are the most frequent institutions that women have resorted to, and women and human rights institutions least of them. Women's opinion of reform committees: It depends on satisfaction (35.4%). And their opinion of the courts: their procedures are complicated (35%)
