Abstract

This article focuses on virginity as an important issue in gender and sexual studies within the sociology framework. The issue of virginity is considered a sensitive critical subject in terms scientific investigation, because it is one of the sexually linked taboos. This article aime is to investigate the value of virginity in the Moroccan context generally and specifically the Moroccan young people to be able to discover the youthful sexuality in Morocco. We would focus also on the value of virginity in relationship with the sexual education that Moroccan girls receive and their body independence and freedom during the recent social, legal and cultural changes in Moroccan society
