Abstract

The study aimed to determine the factors affecting in activation of the level of political participation of Palestinian women. The study used the social survey method in a simple random sampling method. The study was applied to (128) students from the Faculty of Arts at the Islamic University of Gaza, the questionnaire was used as a tool for the study, the data were entered and analyzed by The statistical program SPSS, (version 22), the results of the study concluded that the level of influence of personal, legislative and political factors in activating the level of political participation of Palestinian women was average, while the level of influence of family factors in activating the level of political participation of Palestinian women was high, and the study did not find differences Statistically significant at the level (α ≤ 0.05) in the responses of the study sample to the factors affecting in activation of the level of political participation of Palestinian women due to the variable of social status and place of residence.
