The phenomenon of Arab brain drain: its causes, implications and proposed solutions

Abstract

This paper examined the phenomenon of Arab brain drain and discussed the political, economic, academic and social factors leading to it, and the positive and negative effects of migration of Arab brains. It also presented the experiences of some Arab countries in reducing the negative repercussions of this phenomenon, such as the experiences of the Egyptien Ministry of Immigration, & The Arab Academy In Denmark, and ways to benefit from them. It also reviewed some of the successful experiences of foreign countries that have managed to limit the migration of their minds, and suggested ways to benefit Arab countries from these experiences. & In light of the Previous factors that lead to the phenomenon of Arab brain Drain and The successful foreign experiences, this paper presented concluding recommendations to reduce Arab brain drain
