Abstract

The study area is replete with many elements of tourism that vary its different tourist patterns, hence the importance of the study, which aims to highlight these diverse patterns and study ways to develop them to ensure the development of the tourism sector in the region and highlight the most important types of tourism that are compatible with the data of the natural and human tourist area, and to identify the most important obstacles it faces, and the study concluded the diversity of tourism patterns in Misrata, which qualify it to be a tourist destination locally and internationally, Especially ecotourism, sports, medical and shopping tourism, the study recommended several recommendations, including increasing community awareness of tourism and its importance, encouraging various private sectors to invest in this sector, and developing development plans for the tourism sector short and long term to ensure the continuity and sustainability of this sector
