The Intercontinental Biosphere Reserve of the Mediterranean (IBRM) between Spain and Morocco was officially established in October 2006 by UNESCO within the framework of its Man and the Biosphere programme (MAB), considered an important place of socio-cultural exchange with a remarkable natural and cultural heritage, covering nearly a million hectares. The Moroccan part located at the heart of the Tingitana peninsula. This territorial project, required assessment; It should therefore be noted that this study encountered, in the Moroccan part, several barriers that limited the chances of attaining the goals of IBRM, especially on the level of sustainable development
