Abstract:Our talk paves the way to a controversial criticism towards a “code of poetry” or “poetry’s standard” according to one of the greatest arab scientists of ancient criticism whose name is “Ibn kuteiba Al-dainuri” . If we go through his criticism to poetry we can read at the same time how he could approve or refuse a fiven poetry to another through moving from one kind to another. Then; can the empowerment of “poetic poetry” be achieved just by saying that it is a set of words( vocabulary items ) and meanings? At last , how could our judgement be on its criticial prospests ?
