The Extent of Inclusiveness of the Jordan 2025 Vision Document of the Global Goals of Sustainable Development 2016-2030

Abstract

The study aims at revealing the degree to which the Jordan 2025 Vision document includes within it the global goals of sustainable development 2016-2030. To achieve this purpose, it makes use of qualitative research based on three methodologies: analyzing the contents of official documents, analyzing available data and information, and benchmarking. The study results reveal the absence of global goals for sustainable development 2016-2030, as outlined by the UN General Assembly,within the Jordan 2025 Vision document. In addition, the four 2025 Vision’s axes (government, businesses, society and citizen) included initiatives connected to one or all of the global goals for sustainable development at a rate of (49%)
