Developing a scale to measure the fanatical attitudes towards immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa in Morocco

Abstract

The objective of this research, was to develop a scale to measure Morrocans’ fanatical attitudes, towards migrants from sub-Saharan Africa. Researcher’s approach to content analysis, and survey form, that was distributed to a sample of 30 people from different cross-sections of Moroccan society, living in the cities of Rabat, Salé, Temara and Skhirat. the format of the scale corresponded to the Likert five model .The validity and reliability of the scale, have been confirmed by passing the scale on a sample of 30 people living in the same cities. The researcher used the Statistical Package for the social sciences (SPSS), and the following statistical tools : Pearson correlation factor ; Alpha-Kronbach equation. The final formula included 39 items, spread across the components of the fanatical attitudes, cognitive (13 items) , emotional (13 items) and behavioral (13 items)
