The Reality of Iraqi Women and their Future Challenges

Abstract

The present research found that women’s lives have been affected either positively or negatively because of the fail of former Iraqi regime in 2003. Their political participations increased of cause of the political polarization and also they involved in activity in the organizations that concern on the women. As, they have achieved many goals and privileges. However, they have experienced some serious problems because of the lack of security in some areas and ethnic conflict as the consequence of developing religious extremist trends. These limit the women’s rights and freedom, and prevent them to play their roles
