The rural urban relations : Guercif province’s case

Abstract

This article studies the relations between Guercif city and its province which lead to the emergence of a special geography with three dimensions: the center, cureents, influence circuit in order to determine the role of Guercif city in the organization of its provincial sphere. From this point,I will try in the first topic to define the geographical origin of Guercif population taking into account the migration streams within the province, and to focus in the second topic on the study of the flourishing service activities within the province of Guercif itself be they public or private. The last topic will be devoted to determine Guercif city’s influence circuit and clarify its role in the organization of the sphere
