The study aimed to identify the guiding practice in the educational institution from the point of view of the counselors of the school guidance according to the official texts and actual practice.The researcher used a questionnaire that was applied to a sample of 50 counselors and guidance counselor working in the intermediate and secondary schools in Saida. The descriptive approach was used in the study. The results showed that the guiding practice practiced by the guidance counselors is very high in the educational institutions according to the official texts. The study showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the indicative practice from the point of view of the study sample due to sex variable And professional experience, while there are statistically significant differences in the indicative practice from the point of view of the sample of the study due to the variable of academic specialization in favor of the field of education sciences, there are no statistically significant differences in the obstacles of the indicative practice due to gender variable, academic specialization and professional experience.
