Abstract

The study aimed to answer a question: What are the social factors and dimensions that contribute to the emergence of the phenomenon of marginal art in the city of Casablanca? It is a qualitative study based on the approach of understanding and interpretation, and it was used in depth interview as a tool for data collection through an interview guide that was applied to some of the marginal artists who practice the following arts: (graffiti, street music, restaurant music, Underground rap) In the city of Casablanca, by holding (100) open interviews from (February to May 2021), and the interviews were completed to discuss the results during the month (January 2022) and the most important results were that the phenomenon of marginal arts in the city of Casablanca is a youth phenomenon par excellence, but These young people lack financial support to realize their artistic projects, suffer from tightened authorities and often end up in prisons. And change the mindsets that offend the art of the fringe
