Moroccan Political Elite: "A Comparative Study of Contextual Origins and Formation Trajectories."

Abstract

Discussing the intellectual and ideological context of the emergence of the concept of elites in Europe, specifically in Italy, is not merely an attempt to present incidental ideas and issues. Rather, its purpose is to understand the most significant challenges that have arisen from the emergence of the concept of political elites and their direct role in establishing elitism as an independent and self-standing discipline. On the other hand, this theoretical approach provides a solid foundation for analyzing and interpreting some of the issues we encounter when studying the behavior and practices of Moroccan political elites. Therefore, the ideological, theoretical, and methodological debate that we have touched upon allows for a systematic analysis of the Moroccan political elites, their nature, position, and function within the Moroccan political system
