Regional and local development in Tunisia: results of an inquiry

After presenting the problematic of the article, we will study the characteristics of local and regional development, then the factors, causes and consequences of regional and local inequality in Tunisia. In the second part, we will focus our attention on the results of an inquiry on the respondents' perception and vision about local and regional development in Tunisia, on development inequality, its factors and effects, its relationship to planning and decentralization (thanks to the results of aninquiry). And in the last part of this article, we will present the most important suggestions and recommendations
