The elites and the cultural problem in Algeria

Abstract

In this study, we try to determine the relationship between elites and culture - the cultural problem - in Algerian society, by highlighting the most important themes in the cultural context and its relationship to other variables such as: politics, society, religion, identity, and identifying the most important actors in society Represented by the political and cultural elites, and the role of the elites varies according to time, means and means available to them in the formulation and preservation of culture, and its role may be negative for it, and we have tried to highlight the general characteristics that are unique to each elite and Here we note the difference between the active elites, and in the last we discussed an important issue which is the intellectual elites and building cultural and intellectual projects in the Arab countries in general and Algeria in particular
