Abstract

This paper attempts to clarify what is meant by mediocrity in the language, the conventional meaning, and the legitimate concept? Is moderation an approach to balanced social change? What are the basic features of the middle thought in the Islamic discourse? What are the manifestations of moderation and moderation in the Islamic heritage?
