"Dour" in Moroccan countryside, between ambiguities of the concept and the diversity of social and spatial dimensions

this article attempts to raise the issue of defining the concept of douar in the Moroccan rural areas by standing on some of its aspects, because of the great importance this housing framework has in structuring the rural area as a center for decision making, and as a social, political and economic framework, however, his concept remains inspiring and ambiguous, both legally and geographically. Despite the consensus of the various actors on its importance in activating development, however, there is still no consensus on its significance and its dimensions. This study aims to stands on the concept of vertigo, and define the social and special dimensions that characterize this authentic residential framework in the Moroccan countryside. This study ends with an applied procedure with the "Doukkala" region, highlighting the various transfor ations witnessed by the rotor in connection with the comprehensive rural development in this geographical area
