Abstract

This research paper starts from a study and analysis of the basic data of the current Arab-Islamic thought, based on the contemporary modernist projects, on which the Algerian philosopher Muhammad Arkoun rose to the throne, who continues to dig into the structure of the Islamic holy through the application of Western approaches to the Arab-Islamic heritage, where we find it He alone created a special methodology in Islamic thought, which he called applied Islamism, through which he tried to study Islamic thought from the inside, unlike the studies carried out by the transcendentalists.
