Socio-Spatial dynamics and the problem of urbanization in small urban structures in Morocco “Diagnostic study of the reality of small urban structures, Example of the city of SIDI SLIMANE”

Abstract

This study aims to diagnose the reality of the state of small urban structures- in Morocco, because it is part of the urban and developmental system. This study focused on the societal and spatial dynamics and its relationship with the different roles of direct and indirect actors in the space of the city “Sidi Slimane”, and its implications on urban space. The aim of this study is to know whether the “material” density in the language of the pioneer sociologist (Emile Durkheim) is in reality accompanied by a “spiritual” intensity, or in our research language; is socio-spatial dynamism associated with an urban culture that is expressed through the public spaces that make up the city?
