Keywords:
Identity, Imazighen, Imaginary, Mystic, symolAbstract
This researchaims to discuss the basis of identity for Imazighen, by analyzing the ways in whichthey express theirbelonging. We do this by standing up to the artistic aspect as one of the most important forms of human expression, and we chose to work on songs because it is the most widespread form of arts. Thus, we propose that the identity, for the Imazighen, Is determined differently from what we find in other cultures, because of the different relationship between the existential and the anthropological dimension. Therefore, the research re-examine the concept and meanings of identity, and the manifestations of those meanings in the identification of the Imazighen, then examine the anthropological basis on their imaginary.
