Abstract

Dealing with beggars has been among the schedule of cultural and mental researches. This categories was abasic constitued of asocial phenomenon which we tried to come across in the different criteria and characteristics of its life system. As wellas understanding its mental aspects and the customs submitting its differents social relationships in the era of french colonization manifested in the procedures of performing the phenomena of begging. Also, it has based on as a method of self-building in the process of turning into a social and professional pattern in social tunisian. The latter is changeable and heterogeneous governed by the effects and social, economic and cultural changes created by the presence of the french colonization. The survey of pattern and sample of beggars has represented the most important methods enabling us a deep understanding of the criteria as well as mental, intellectual and cultural background of the beggars ti the extent to which it is able to interact positively with time either, in a conscious and wise way or in a spontaneous and arbitrary way. Also, adaptation his notion of time together with his choice of the place of begging and earning money. Then, revealing his mental presence illustrated in the wickedness and the successive means mixed with the verbal and positive non-verbal speech in the process of earning and charity. The psychological, intellectual of the beggars express collective visions of this category towards iots reality overwhelmed by the struggle of proving on self an social status. This had turned out sometimes to extremism and mental deliquency
