Abstract

This article aims to present five of the strategies that Brazil is using to reduce poverty. Several organisations in Brazil are involved in this task, and some organisations provide food to needy students. In addition, by providing food to needy children, small producers are able to market their products and sell them to students through school administrations. Despite the increasing popularity of Brazilian TV series and the number of Brazilian athletes on the football field, which generate millions of dollars for the country, Brazil is still trying to reduce poverty rates by implementing many programmes and providing various resources to improve the living conditions of the population and reduce this serious phenomenon. This is being done through the implementation of five strategies, including the World without Poverty Strategy, Brazil without Misery, the Zero Hunger Programme and the National Programme for Access to Technical Education and Employment
