Evaluation of the language sounds in deaf child with cochlear implant through the application of MUSS test
Keywords:
hearing loss, cochlear implant, language soundsAbstract
In the context of neuroscience research our study aims to demonstrate by its problematic: the impact of the cochlear implant on the production of language sounds in the deaf child. To achieve our goal, a sample of 12 deaf children implanted was selected considering several variables such as age of implantation, degree and types of deafness. And after having passed the MUSS test over successive periods, pre-implantation and at 3 months, 12 months and 18 months post-implantation. And after a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results collected we have accepted our hypothesis that there is a correlation between the cochlear implant and the production language sounds in deaf child
