Abstract

The region of Chefchaouen is part of a very complex mountain unit, whose height reaches more than 1,700 meters and is followed by steep slopes. And the groups of this region among the rural areas, which are characterized by the manifestations of poverty and marginalization in Morocco, and therefore were targeted by the programs of the National Initiative for Human Development 2005-2015 (the program to combat poverty in the rural area, the program of land rehabilitation and anti-vulnerability program) While the rate of electricity supply and poverty reduction have improved, the rates of drinking water and schooling are still very low, due to several natural constraints, the most difficult of which is the difficult topography of the region.
