The study discusses the legitimacy of the Palestinian National Authority (PLO) and its status after the establishment of the Palestinian National Authority. It is an attempt to analyze and understand the factors and reactions related to the status of the Palestine Liberation Organization in terms of evaluating its march and finding the reasons for its degradation. After Oslo, The organization's structures emptied of its content and it becomes unable to carry out the tasks because of the Palestinian Authority's obsession of most of its functions and powers. The study adopted the analytical method, which analyzes the internal impartial and personal factors, which contributed of the frailty of the Palestine Liberation Organization's structure, as a national institution, and analyze the factors that would renew the legitimacy of the PLO under the entry of Islamic currents, specifically Hamas on the Palestinian political system. The Islamic political current has increased in the national field, with gradually way after the establishment of the Palestinian Authority, and this phenomenon is manifested in the forms of organization, working methods, speech-language, political vocabulary as close as it is adopted by the factions of the organization, Preparing to participate in the trade union, local and legislative elections, and dealing with the political reality in a pragmatic manner away from their ideological positions
