Trust between the citizen and the government A field social study from the point of view of different segments of Iraqi society

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the nature of trust between the citizen and the Iraqi government, and the two researchers used the social survey method to analyze the research axes, and the research sample reached (300) individuals to know their view of the type of relationship between the citizen and the government, and we used the questionnaire tool to measure the level and degree of satisfaction between the two parties. Extracting the results of the research through the social statistical package (spss), and the researchers reached several conclusions, including: Enhancing the concept of political confidence in the state is one of the basic and important things in the stability of society, the most important confidence-building mechanism is the ruling elite meeting the needs and demands of its citizens, and when you touch the Iraqi reality, you find There is a crisis of trust between the citizen and the government, and despite the existence of an elected parliament, it does not represent the true face of the people, because it is far from the aspirations, concerns and requirements of the Iraqi people
