Abstract

Morocco has responded to the international discourse about cultural pluralism which was formulated in a flexible way to accommodate different political experiences related to managing cultural diversity without neglecting each country’s particularities. The national frame of reference addressing Moroccan cultural policies has adhered to the discourse, without departing from national Moroccan identity and sacred principles. This adherence has resulted in the tendency towards adopting a unified institutional frame of reference for cultural policies that responds relatively to the reality of cultural differences in Moroccan society
