Morocco's slum housing which is mostlylocated in marginal areas is a major problem in the development of urban communities. Despite the State's efforts to eradicate this phenomenon, it has not been able to get rid of it completely. Firmly convinced that development is useless unless peopleare the agents and at the same time the target of this development, it is not only about providing housing to these neighborhoods, but also about improving the physical conditions of their inhabitants and enabling them withknowledge and skills that allow them to contribute effectively and actively to the urban life. For this reason, this study will be based on depicting the marking features of inadequate housing regarding the quality of the housing, the quality of the various living facilities and the extent to which those facilities meet the needs of slum inhabitants. We will consider all these issues in the 'Ain Sbaa' district, which is considered a black spot in the outskirts of Kenitra city as a case study
