Abstract

This study aimed to diagnose the reality of the social representations of the cultural elites to understand the causes of the phenomenon of meaninglessness among university youth, which is embodied by the state of duplication in their thought and behavior and the changes that followed their values, attitudes and representations of their reality, which have become a crisis in the cultural scene in Algeria in light of the intellectual elite's departure from its role in educating them and encouraging them to be They have a positive role in change, and thus the features of the research problem revolve around a central question: What is the representation of cultural elites for the reasons for the meaninglessness of university youth?
