The ethical responsibility of the doctor and its role in reducing medical errors - the medical oath as a model

The medical oath is considered one of the obligations that must be performed before practicing the profession of medicine, as graduates must repeat the special oath. The doctor’s treatment of the patient is subject to many complex factors, including scientific and educational gains, the principles and ethics of the profession, the ethics of custom and belief, and the relationship of man to his fellow man. However, the behavior and behavior of some health workers are not in line with the nature of the place and profession. In this research, I will address the most important ethical behaviors that must be available in the health worker and that help reduce medical errors, and this is by analyzing the content of the Hippocratic oath, as well as the section chosen by the Islamic Medical Association, and its meanings and principles that the health worker must possess
