Abstract

The current research seeks to reveal the trends of social studies teachers in the schools of the second episode about the impact of the use of educational robots on the improvement of STEAM skills for gifted children in the Sultanate of Oman and to achieve the research goal, a scale of the trend of social studies teachers in the schools of the second episode was built towards the impact of the use of educational robots on the improvement of STEAM skills in the the tool was applied to a sample of (60) teachers from the governorates of the Sultanate. The results showed that the level of attitudes of social studies teachers in the schools of the second ring in the Sultanate of Oman was positive on average, and there is no statistically significant difference between the average males and females at the level of significance (0.05), and these results may be attributed to a set of factors that make social studies teachers tend to use technology and technology in education in our time, including: encouraging robots and educational technologies students to explore concepts themselves and solve problems in innovative ways, which enhances their critical and creative thinking skills. The research paper recommended teaching an integrated curriculum that combines science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics subjects (STEAM curriculum) using educational robots to make the most of them in developing the skills of gifted children. The research paper also proposed to conduct research on the effectiveness of learning based on educational robots in improving STEAM skills among talented students in post-basic education in the Sultanate of Oman
