Total Quality Management in Education - An Overview at the Application Requirements and Obstacles to Investigation

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify Total Quality Management (TQM) in education. This concept has taken a great deal of interest from researchers and specialists as it is the latest change in the principles of management. Owing to the importance of this subject, we dealt with it in four main axes, starting with a presentation of some concepts of quality and TQM. Then, we moved to the presentation of some requirements of the application of TQM in educational institutions as well as the obstacles hindering the achievement of TQM in those institutions. Finally, we shed light on some suggestions and recommendations that help to overcome the obstacles and difficulties facing their achievement
