Abstract

This article represents a study on dedication, being a para- text linked to a social practice, which initially has no creative or literary dimension. The presence of the dedication is based on the existence of a social relationship between a donor and a done, and the literary work presents itself in this relationship in terms of expressing the interdependence between the two parties. But the dedication knew a reversal of its social nature, among a group of novelists, and it became active in the text that is accompanied. its presence change, from the social level to the literary level, and from the functional dimension to the relational dimension. Therefore, in this article, we will study this transformation, through a series of Maghrebian novels
