Abstract

As éducation is the first real requirement for the success of the policy of rehabilitation and rehabilitation in prisons because it is directly related to the disciplinary, educational and preventive aspects. It works to develop the intellectual, mental and social capabilities that enable prisoners to reform and integrate into society, and to avoid as far as possible the foci of crime and its activities, And enable them to rely on themselves by obtaining scientific and professional degrees that enable them to obtain a decent job that meets their needs and prevents them from obtaining them by illegal means. This article shows the effectiveness of educational programs in Algerian prisons and their educational trends by showing the concept and mechanisms and the extent of the use of prisoners
