The level of practice of academic leaders for strategic planning at Amran University "From the perspective of academic leaders and faculty"

Abstract

The study aims to find out the level of practice of academic leaders for strategic planning at the University of Amran from the point of view of academic leaders and faculty members. Environmental and strategic analysis, implementation of the strategic plan, monitoring, strategic evaluation, and after verifying the validity and stability of the tool was distributed to the study sample of (53) individuals, Data were analyzed using the Statistical Packages Program (SPSS). The results of the study concluded that the level of academic leaders' practice of strategic planning in the University of Amran from the point of view of the sample individuals. The study as a whole was "low" at the level of the tool as a whole and at the level of each of its areas, except the area of strategic direction was "medium". The results showed that there are no statistically significant differences on the level of practice of strategic leadership by academic leaders due to variable (job title, college type, degree, years of experience) at the level of fields and the tool as a whole
