Abstract

Sudden death is a violent shock that affects every member of the family and its dynamism, because the traumatic event works to sabotage the dynamism and family ties. For brothers, mourning is multiplied by the loss of a brother or sister, in addition to the absence of parents' availability from the psychological side due to the mourning they do. Perceptions of death for a child differ from the adult. And mourning for the child is based on the previous stages of development that he went through. Therefore,, helping parents to talk about death and giving children a place in the funeral rituals surrounding death, plays a preventive role. To alleviate this psychological suffering, the researcher discussed the appropriate psychological care for the brothers, which helps them to rebuild and balance the psychological side and facilitate the process of mourning by giving importance to the sub-groups, namely the brothers, husbands and the family, because it is a collective circumstance helping in the first time to protect the child And later, psychological assistance intervenes to help each member of the family according to his pace, his characteristics and his personal resources
