Educational policy making in Saudi Arabia In view of Vision 2030 between reality and hope

The study aims to answer the main Question say: “Does the educational policy in Saudi universities, as is done on the real, lead to the realization of the Saudi's vision regarding university education, and raise the efficiency of the outputs of university education at the scientific and personal level to implement the vision in its various fields?”,It’s a qualitative study, depends on the descriptive analytical approach. The in-depth interview was used as a tool to collect data through an interview guide that was prepared based on an analysis of educational issues in KSA vision 2030. WE applied that guide on some non-Saudi academics working in some universities in the Kingdom, which was conducted through holding (18) open interviews during the month of (July 2019), and the interviews were completed to discuss the results during the month of (January 2020). The main results represented in: The Vision still needs to ways, means and mechanisms obliging educational process parties to pay attention and achieve it, Necessity to establish a clear and task-specific institution entity that provides the right information about the vision, The scientific departments and universities need to update their programs and curricula to achieve the vision in various fields and disciplines, The importance of promoting and achieving scientific research related to vision in various fields, and Necessity to raise the efficiency of the educational system and work environment in some universities
