Abstract

The study aimed to know the obstacles that confront Universities’ Education quality from the perspective of students at Al-Istiqlal University. This study belongs to the pattern of descriptive studies by depending on the quantitative methodology; by using a probability sample by means of social survey in the method of comprehensive limitation of all the B.A. degree students in their final year- the graduates – at Al-Istiqlal University. The total number of the population of the study was (262) students in the academic specializations which are offered by the University. The researcher depended on a measure which he had prepared. After ensuring its validity and reliability, the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to derive the results and analyze and discuss them, and this is by depending on a group of statistical treatments which suit the nature of the topic of the study. The results of the study revealed that the responses of the students on the axes of the obstacles that confront the quality of education at Al-Istiqlal University which are connected with the variables of: (members of the teaching staff, students of Al-Istiqlal University, the University textbook, the quality of the Library, methods of teaching, field training, the quality of evaluation of the students, the interaction of the specializations with the society) were average
