Some considerations on the community notion and its usages in sociological literature

Abstract

The traditional vision of the notion of community approaches the Human in his total accomplished roles. For long time, it constructed its ideas via a preestablished model of traditional community. In the present paper, we are trying to overcome this conception of community's notion that always understands community as homogenous unit, static and immutable. By doing so, we can look at the dynamics and complex interests that characterize the notion of community and under-looked for a long time. For this reason, the present analysis offers a way of observing social reality by focusing on the process of elaboration community practices and ties. Also, it will permit us to propose a new understanding of community on the basis of latest developments.
